SMS Consent
The Idaho Club AI Concierge — SMS Consent Process
The Idaho Club uses an AI Concierge named Lisa to assist customers with restaurant reservations, golf tee-time inquiries, and real estate private-tour requests.
SMS messages are sent only after a customer initiates contact and provides consent during the conversation.
How Customers Initiate Contact
Customers may initiate contact through either of the following methods:
1. Direct Inbound Phone Call
The customer voluntarily calls The Idaho Club AI Concierge phone number to request assistance.
2. QR Code
The customer voluntarily scans a publicly displayed The Idaho Club QR code, which initiates or directs the customer to the same AI Concierge telephone experience.
Scanning the QR code does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages. SMS consent is requested separately during the telephone conversation before any text message is sent.
How SMS Consent Is Collected
During the customer-initiated conversation, Lisa may offer to send requested information by SMS, including:
- Restaurant reservation links
- Golf tee-time booking links
- Real estate private-tour scheduling links
- Booking confirmations
- Directly related service information requested by the customer
Before sending any SMS message, Lisa requests the customer’s permission.
Verbal Consent Script
Lisa states:
“With your permission, I can send the requested link or information by text message to the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Would you like me to send you the text message?”
Only after the customer affirmatively agrees does Lisa collect or confirm the customer’s mobile phone number and send the requested SMS message.
If the customer declines, no SMS message is sent.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or service.
Types of SMS Messages
Messages are limited to customer-requested transactional and service-related communications, such as:
- Restaurant reservation links or confirmations
- Golf booking or tee-time links
- Real estate private-tour scheduling links
- Appointment confirmations
- Directly related service updates requested by the customer
The Idaho Club does not use this consent flow to send unsolicited promotional or marketing SMS messages.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on the customer’s request and interaction.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out and Help
Customers may:
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of future SMS messages.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
After an opt-out request is received, no further SMS messages will be sent unless the customer later provides new consent as permitted by applicable requirements.
Mobile Information Privacy
The Idaho Club does not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be processed by service providers solely as necessary to operate, deliver, and support the requested communications, subject to applicable privacy and security obligations.
